Snakeskin Peep Toe :)

After long consideration on whether it's a good day to do shopping for Hari Raya during this hectic shopping fever, we decided to Just Do It yesterday evening. Lucky for my budget strict list, we finish in 4 hours (Mr. BF is not so happy with this because it exceeding the said 3 hours I promised him). This year theme is olive green so I spotted this delicious snakeskin peep toe from Voir and grab it for good.

I ate CAT pill (and Turning into Catwoman???)

Few weeks before, I was down with fever, my whole face was swollen because of Sinusitis and flu make it worse.

my swollen face was something like this minus the smile

The first day that I got it, I just want to get rid of the flu, so I check the medical supply that we have at home. After few minutes ransacking it, I found one pill with "flu" written on the package. Without even thinking I gulped it down.

this is the pill

When Mr.BF came back that evening, I asked him about the pill and show him. To my surprise, it was our previous cat, de La Rey's pill (he died because of skin disease, and that pill is for that!). Maybe our maid wrongly slot in the pill in the package. I am so scared that it will change me. If I change into some sexy feline like catwoman will be good, but what if I change into something hairy? Goodness no! After few days of waiting, I felt better but the thought of eating that pill, is scary! Totally...

meow.....

p/s: what is the weirdest medication that you ever took?

South Africa Vacation!

I went to South Africa last June, for two weeks vacation and to meet family. We flew there using Malaysia Airlines (bought the ticket at promotion price which is about 50% off!, normal price is around RM6,000 something), it took about 10 hours 30mins to reach OR Tambo Airport, Johannesburg. The weather is nice and cold with breeze. South Africa surprises me in a way that the people are friendly and full of colors. They are lots of ethnics there. White, Black, Colored, Asian, Indian etc. It is not so uncommon to see people dancing and singing while doing their work together, especially among the Black that love singing and dancing. Public place is clean, food is nice and services are great. I will definitely go there again. So, I will let the picture do the talking!

Thatch roof is famous here

In the Gautrain from the airport to Sandtone, the train fare is about R120.00 which is around RM50 something here, but the service is great!

Bloody Mess Accident

On my third day in South Africa, I was still trying to adjust to the weather, making me looked like a mess in the process. The weather is so cold, my skin was dry and scaly. All lotion that I put, ended up as one layer of powder over my skin. I think probably because the pH was wrong. Maybe next time I buy the lotion there. My lips was cracking up and my face grew few pimples, so the least I can do is put on make up and maybe trim my eyebrows?
So that morning, I took a very hot shower, put on my best clothes (we are going to Pilanesberg, a game reserve!), starting to put moisturizer on my face and ready with the trimmer. It's already 8.00 in the morning and Mr.Bf and the kids were in his brother's (Mauritz) next door, so basically I am late for breakfast. As I was trying to take off the cap of the trimmer, I wont go off, so I tried and tried and finally put a strong force on it to take it off. And zap! I saw the bone on my finger as it cut open! I was in shocked and the pain was not registered yet in my head. So, I stand there and thought to myself, maybe I should finish with my make up! (Mr.Bf called me vain, now I know why). Then I saw blood, dripping like crazy. So finishing make up totally out of question. I rushed to Mauritz's and knocked the door. It was locked. I knocked and knocked and Mauritz opened it.
I said, I am sorry, can you help me?
Mauritz probably didn't hear me and told me its okay breakfast still on the table.
Then I told him, No, help me my finger is bleeding!
Then he saw the cut, ushered me to the table, washed his hand and clean my wound, asked Mr.Bf to get ready and we drove to the hospital.
It was Sunday, we have to call the doctor (he was having breakfast)
The doctor was really sweet, came with his jeans and Tee, and he told me its a wrong place to commit suicide, yeah right! He gave me three stitches and the rest of it just went well. It cost us (Mr.Bf actually, he sweet enough to pay) R1200 which is around RM600! Well, lesson learned, never got into accident in S.Africa. It is freaken' expensive! Now the wound is totally healed but I still have post traumatic syndrome when I saw knife or anything like that. Any idea how to overcome this?

p/s: Didn't trim my eyebrows for almost 2 months now, if you ever saw a girl with bushy eyebrows, let just pretend it is not me, okay?

After the doctor gave me "the three stitches". They didn't clean the blood! It was my first time having stitches so now I am considered MACHO! he he

After a week

After 2 weeks, Mr.Bf removed the stitches then

Note: wait for my S.African trip reviews tomorrow!

rEASON tO cOMEBACK

To any of you that wonder where I've been missing for two months, well you can rest assured now that I am not being sent to Afghanistan for special task mission nor I am joining few people that volunteering to start life on Mars. I am just simply fighting with myself for the reason to come back blogging. I feel unmotivated, slacks and bored to death. But yesterday, one of Mr.BF's uncle put me into shamed by telling me that he is busy for 24/7 (he is motivational speaker) and still updating his blog weekly. So, to prove to him that I am F.U.N, here I am, come back for good!
